Gwen has solid basic training
and is mastering flying lead changes. She
ties, bathes, stands for farrier and
vet, is easy to catch, has excellent ground manners, is easy to tack up, is completely dog
safe and traffic safe. |
| General Information: |
This level-headed
youngster has a wonderful, willing attitude and talent to match. She
has great conformation with a strong back and perfectly straight,
unblemished legs. Her gaits are smooth, even, free and uphill, and she
has great movement behind.
Gwen is unflappable on the trail, leading
timid horses through water and over obstacles despite her young age.
She has done extensive trail riding and is very calm at all gaits in
fields and woods. This young mare has a great brain and attitude! She is brave and athletic enough to compete in
upper level eventing, will make an exceptional fox hunter and is going
nicely in the hunter ring. Gwen is calm
enough for an experienced child to finish but is not at all lazy. According to the AWS
inspector, this fancy and smart young
mare has "great sport horse potential!" Gwen is not at all marish, and her calm,
level-headed nature makes her an unusual find. She is a fast learner and will
move quickly through the levels for an experienced rider. She would also make an excellent
first horse for a junior moving up from ponies, a terrific horse for an adult rider,
or a talented prospect for any
equestrian. She's a forward mover and is also extremely safe--a rare combination. |
